RONAN KENNEDY - CAREER COACH AND TRAINER
Address: 20 Harcourt Street, St. Kevin’s, Dublin 2
HOW IT WORKS:
Most people do two sessions over a one-month period. I recommend a 90 minute session to start, with a follow-up 90-minute session, but the choice is up to the client. The sessions are tailored to their needs and are focused on getting practical results.
DO YOU OFFER FREE CONSULTATION CALLS:
Yes, I’m happy to call you for a brief chat.
WHAT DOES CAREER COACHING/GUIDANCE INVOLVE?
Firstly, it’s about finding out where the person is getting stuck and starting working from there by asking questions and looking for solutions. Some examples of what people find difficult include:
Creating a professional profile/executive summary that presents themselves well
Building confidence and overcoming self-doubt
Identifying the right job opportunities to apply for
Updating and improving their CV and cover letter
Doing good interview preparation and selling themselves
Dealing with interpersonal or communication issues at work
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
The basic package is €300 which allows people to do either 2 x 90-minute sessions or 3 x 60-minute sessions over the course of a month. After all sessions, I follow up with the person by phone or by email to see if there’s anything else they need.
WHERE ARE THE SESSIONS HELD?
There is an option to meet in person at my office (pictured above - 20 Harcourt Street, St. Kevin’s, Dublin 2), in a hotel (Camden Court Hotel, Camden Street, Dublin 2), on the phone (I’ll call you), or on Skype (video chat).
DO YOU DO PSYCHOMETRIC TESTS / PERSONALITY TESTS
No, I don’t do psychometric or personality tests because I don’t find them useful or effective. I listen to my clients closely to discover what’s important to them; what they’re concerned about and how they would feel comfortable moving forward. Then, I help them to prepare and take the next steps. I maintain contact throughout the process to ensure that clients feel fully supported.
DO YOU OFFER EVENING OR WEEKEND SESSIONS?
Yes, I offer sessions up until 7pm in the evening. The last session is typically 5:30pm - 7pm. However, I do not work at the weekends.
WHEN CAN I GET STARTED?
