Competency: Project Management
DEFINITION:
A project is temporary in that it has a defined beginning and end in time, and therefore defined scope and resources. And a project is unique in that it is not a routine operation, but a specific set of operations designed to accomplish a singular goal.

OUTLINE:
Understand the needs, concerns, KPIs and challenges of a client, along with the resources (e.g. time, money, people, equipment, technology, knowledge) available in order to make a strategic plan (including a contingency plan) which will achieve the main objective
Implement the plan by delegating action steps to team members and monitoring its progress (scope, budget, quality and performance of team) to deal with any issues as they arise and take corrective action
Analyse the (qualitative: feedback about project, team and self) and (quantitative: success/failure) results to find out if targets have been met and the client is satisfied.
